About Elvin Stoltzfus
I have years of experience in crop, dairy, and produce farming due to my family being on a dairy farm and my
involvement with produce growers over the years. We were raised on a farm
in Honey Brook, PA where I lived and worked till I was twenty years old.
Later in my life I met Dorothy Schrock, while teaching in a private school in Illinois. We got married in
1995 and now have 3 sons and 3 daughters. Our home is a 14 acre farmette,
called Solid Rock Homestead on the outskirts of Honey Brook.
For 12 years, our family owned and operated The Stoltzfus Garden, a retail produce operation in the
Shillington Farmers Market in Berks County. It was during this time that I
became interested in the real estate needs of the Berks County Ag community and
decided to obtain my PA real estate license. I chose to join Beiler-Campbell
because of the Agriculture expertise in the Ag division and also the customer
care that I saw in the company. From 2006 to 2009 I was active in Ag,
Commercial, and Residential real estate sales in the Tri-County area.
In 2009 , God called us to serve with Christian Aid Ministries in Liberia, West Africa. There, I managed
the distribution of approximately $11 million worth of donated medical supplies
annually. Later in 2010, I was moved to the position of managing the Christian
Aid Ministries Orphan Support Program in Liberia. There, we supported with
food, medicine, education and moral training more than 2,700 children every
month in 40 different orphanages and 20 different church groups spread all over
Liberia.
I was also blessed by being able to assist native Liberians in the purchasing of real estate in their own
country. This experience was GREAT, due to the fact that all transactions there
were "BUYER BEWARE". During their late civil war, the national
archives had been vandalized and therefore the deed records were nearly
non-existent. From this scenario, some great and also some very heartbreaking
experiences were brought to my attention and then ultimately needed some type
of intervention or mediation by people like myself.
Living and working abroad has been by far, one of the most personal growth-producing experiences in my life.
When we returned to Pennsylvania in August 2014, I returned to the real estate world again, renewed
license and have been active in representing buyers and sellers in a broad
spectrum of real estate transactions.
I bring to the table, experience in selling farms, farmettes, multi-unit residential buildings,
residential, and hunting properties. I strive to operate in a highly
professional and honest manner. It is my goal to keep the interest of my clients first.
